Terms & Policies :

At LK Laser Clinic , I aim to keep everything clear and simple so you always know what to expect. Please take a moment to read through my policies before booking your appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

  • You can do this via the online booking system or by emailing lkbeautycornwall@gmail.com.

  • If you’re within the 24-hour window, the online system won’t allow changes—please contact me directly.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given:

  • New clients: Your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

  • Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) clients: A 50% cancellation fee will be charged to the card saved in the booking system.

  • Prepaid course clients: The missed session will be forfeited.

No-shows will be charged the full treatment amount, or in the case of prepaid packages, the session will be forfeited.

I understand that life can be unpredictable. In genuine emergencies (such as bereavement or hospitalisation), exceptions may be made at my discretion.

Late Policy

  • Clients are responsible for keeping track of appointments. Reminder texts are sent the day before, but please don’t rely solely on these as technology can sometimes fail.

  • Please arrive on time. As the clinic is by appointment only, the door may be locked if you arrive early. If I’m in treatment, you may be asked to wait until your scheduled time.

  • If you are up to 10 minutes late, your session may be shortened but will still be charged at full price.

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may be considered a no-show, and the cancellation policy will apply.

  • Repeated lateness may result in loss of priority booking and full payment required in advance for future bookings.

If I’m running behind, I’ll always do my best to let you know in advance.

Payment Policy

  • A deposit is required to secure all bookings for new clients.

  • PAYG clients: 50% deposit of the treatment cost.

  • Prepaid course clients: £50 deposit.

  • Appointment slots are held for 48 hours to allow time for deposit payment. If unpaid, the slot will be released.

  • Deposits are deducted from the total balance at your first session.

  • All sales are final. No refunds are issued for completed treatments or partially used packages (see Treatment Pauses for exceptions).

  • Quotes are valid for 12 months unless stated otherwise. Special offers (e.g. Black Friday) are valid for 30 days from issue.

Digital Consultation & Re-Consent

  • All clients must complete a Digital Consultation Form before their first consultation.

  • Before each session, you must re-consent to confirm you’re happy to proceed and update me on any health or medication changes.

Health Disclosure

Clients must disclose any medical conditions, medications, or relevant information before treatment. I cannot be held responsible for adverse effects caused by undisclosed information.

Client Responsibility

  • Follow the treatment schedule recommended for best results—gaps between sessions may affect outcomes.

  • Book future appointments via the online system or at your session.

  • Follow all pre- and post-care instructions. Missed sessions or ignoring aftercare may reduce results, and I cannot be held responsible.

  • Any unusual skin reactions or complications must be reported immediately.

Treatment Pauses

If treatment needs to be paused (e.g. pregnancy, changes in medication, or personal circumstances), let me know as soon as possible.

  • Remaining sessions will be placed on hold until you’re ready to continue.

  • If I need to take time off, your package will also be placed on hold and resume once I return.

  • No expiry date applies to paused packages—sessions can be resumed at a suitable time without penalty.

Liability Waiver

By signing your agreement, you confirm that you’ve read and understood all information provided in your consultation email (including pricing, treatment intervals, potential risks, top-up sessions, and pre-treatment guidance).

You agree to release LK Laser & Beauty from liability related to treatment, except in cases of gross negligence.

Right to Refuse Treatment

I reserve the right to refuse treatment at any time if it’s unsafe to proceed. This may include:

  • Undisclosed medical conditions

  • Recent sun exposure or sunburn

  • Active tan, skin infections

  • Use of contraindicated medications

If deemed unsuitable on arrival, your appointment may be cancelled and a fee or session forfeiture may apply.

Confidentiality

All client information will be kept strictly confidential and never shared with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

Photo Consent Policy

  • Before and after photos may be taken for insurance, progress tracking, and quality assurance.

  • These photos are kept private unless you provide written consent for marketing use.

  • Marketing consent (e.g. social media, website, promotional materials) is optional, can be withdrawn at any time, and will only be used anonymously unless you agree otherwise.

  • Declining photo consent will not affect your treatment in any way.
